Ok hotel, our room was tired, worn carpet with holes, bathroom had peeling paint but the room smelt bad of smoke, the other couple with us their room was fine, so maybe we were unlucky. Good central location, 15 mins walk to bars and restaurants, not terrible but not great

If you want to stay at this hotel, be prepared for the risk of credit card theft. After checking out, the hotel stole NZ$350 from my credit card without informing me or my permission. After consultation on the complaint, the hotel was arrogant and refused a refund.

Excellent location. Queen St. was around the corner with great window shopping and the Ferry terminal was down the road a few blocks. Small kitchenette, great mattress and pillows. We were close to everything and had a small bakery a few doors down for great coffee and baked goods both for breakfast and a light dinner.
