Great location, clean room with very comfortable bed, friendly staff, noisy with people coming and going through out the hole night (Saturday) good value for money

To the Management and Staff of The Chancellor on Hobson, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the entire team at The Chancellor on Hobson for making my extended stay such a pleasant experience. Due to a work assignment, I stayed at the hotel for several months. Overall, I have been extremely satisfied with both the accommodation and the service provided. In particular, I would like to thank Ravi, the hotel manager, the maintenance manager (a wonderful lady whose name I unfortunately do not know), and all the other staff members who consistently provided warm, professional, and prompt assistance. Whenever an issue arose, it was addressed efficiently and with genuine care. One example stands out. Just yesterday, while I was cooking, the cooker hood malfunctioned and caused a power outage in my room. A staff member, who was pregnant at the time, kindly came to check on the issue twice and helped restore the power. She was remarkably friendly, patient, and resourceful. The very next day, Ravi and the maintenance manager quickly organized the maintenance team to replace the faulty hood with a brand-new unit. Thanks to their quick response, I was able to continue enjoying home-cooked meals after work. I was particularly impressed by the team's attitude and efficiency—they focus on solving problems rather than making excuses, and they are genuinely committed to guest satisfaction. In addition, I believe The Chancellor on Hobson is especially well suited for guests staying for an extended period. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for daily cooking, which is incredibly convenient for people like me who come from overseas for temporary work assignments. During my stay, the hotel also upgraded and refreshed many of the room furnishings, including a full-length mirror, television, bedside tables, and other items, which further enhanced the comfort of the accommodation. One small detail that left a lasting impression on me was a painting beside the bed depicting the beautiful scenery of Zhangjiajie in China. I do not know whether this was simply a coincidence or a thoughtful touch, but as a Chinese guest living abroad for several months, it made me feel surprisingly at home. My time at The Chancellor on Hobson has been both comfortable and enjoyable, and I am truly grateful for the kindness, professionalism, and dedication shown by the entire team. Please extend my thanks to Ravi, the maintenance team, and all staff members who contributed to making my stay such a positive experience. On a positive note, the room was clean had everything you'd need to self-cater and nice shower gel. Sadly, the building itself is more like a student hall of residence. I was travelling on business and it isn't a hotel that is suitable for a lone female, there is no restaurant which when flying in late and being up for meetings it a bit of a pain. walking out to get something of an evening in the dark in a city you aren't familiar with wasn't great. It is a budget hotel i totally get that but for just a few dollars more you can get deals on the waterfront, not somewhere i would stay again. It wasnt disgusting but just wasnt great for business travel.
