This was very disappointing first of all the staff seem to be un helpful when asked where breakfast was almost any thing we asked they where very un informed , even though we where staying there for two days we got kicked out of the casino for being in the casino for to long even though we were regularly going back and forth to our room very unfriendly environment the breakfast which is not in sky city but another building it was really good, rooms where average no sky we will not stay again or go to casino also they took many days to pay back the bond you have to pay to have a room and i even had to ring after week to get it back never again sky

SkyCity Hotel - Make sure if you are going to book - join the loyalty programme that will save you at least 10%. Hotel was nice big rooms we had a premium king. The bathroom had a bath/shower. You had to step quite high to get over the bath, would not be ideal for elderly. If you aren't good mobility wise - get a shower only room. The room was NOT good for reading in bed. Lamps with hardly any light. The overall lighting in the room was not good. Pillows I found were very hard. Hotel has great facilities, lots of restaurants, casino, the Skytower. Lifts are slow only two for our hotel side so had to wait a while. Enjoyable stay at $211 a night - need to improve the lighting in the rooms.

Amazing stay. Wished we had booked for more than one night. We have stayed at sky city a few times now (always booked the same type of room) and always are impressed with their service. Was lovely to walk into room, slightly different, larger and nicer than previous stays. Also complimentary chocolates and a little personalized note to say we had been chosen as their guests of the day. On check out we informed them we had another booking set for in a few months time. To which they already allocated a sky tower view, early check in and a late check out at no extra charge. Very impressed.
