Marama Resort

Perfect accommodation for a family. Spacious 2 bedroom apartments - modern and very well presented. Location is lakeside and a 20 min drive to Rotorua city and popular attractions (e.g. Skyline and Luge). Unless you want to be city center the location is great - close to city but in a beautiful, peaceful spot. On-site facilities are great, outdoor pool, spa pool, tennis court and plenty of room for kids to kick a ball around. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Only stay here as a last resort! Rooms were full in appearance, moderately clean, lacked appliances and above all - this is a mix used property and by that I mean people live on premises and use facilities. Noise level was low as children were back to school, food options dismal, and you must do a bit of a drive for sights and more food options. Overall, Disappointed and falsely advertised. Only upside being there is no sulphate smell in this area.

Absolutely gorgeous ideal for resting. The setting is absolutely sublime with Lake Rotorua. We'll be back
