Serendipity Homestay Bed And Breakfast

We loved this Homestay. Our hosts were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. They made us feel like one of the family. The house has a fabulous view over Rotorua and being up the hill out of the town centre doesn’t have the smell of the mud pools. You can see the geyser Te Puia erupting. Breakfast was good, we had a BBQ one evening with them which was delicious. The room was very nice and the beds very comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay.

Following our month in NZ, Brian and Kate are awarded the gold medal. From our greeting on arrival to waving us goodbye we could not have been better looked after. Thank you, both. Whatever interest we mentioned, they had a suggestion we might like and the homemade baking put the home in homestay. Some magic dust must have rubbed off, for serendipity followed us throughout the month. And thank you again for my unforgettable gift, it has pride of place in the collection.

From our first meeting to the last farewell waves we were treated to helpful interesting information and anecdotes. Nothing was too much trouble from cups of tea, extensive breakfast to booking the last seats for an evenings entertainment.
