Wilderness House

By far our best stay in NZ. Beautiful house and garden but our hosts were amazing. Breakfast was excellent and served in their beautiful dining room. Pre dinner drinks and canapés in the garden allow us to meet our guests and our excellent hosts Noel and Sharon.

Sharon and Noel provide a warm welcome for their guests, a breakfast that is second to none, and a very social canapés and drinks at 6pm. Beds are supremely comfortable and no eye blinds or ear plugs are needed for a deep sleep. Beaufort House is a short, easy walk to the restaurants and shops of Akoroa. We ate at Tini (excellent pizza), Caldera (likely one of the best meals we will have in New Zealand - thank you for the recommendation Sharon) and Ahie. A wonderful introduction to this amazing country. Thank you - and also the Bev for the many cups of tea.

An amazing experience at this luxury accommodation and you get the full package, i.e 5 star accommodation + hospitality + breakfast. The glass of wine (and more than one) in the late afternoon and home made appetizers were a true delight and such with amazing hosts turns this into a very memorable experience. Our hosts appeared to be passionate on rendering us the best service. The breakfast was a real treat with a lot of fresh fruit and delicious omelette. This can be truly referred as a luxury accommodation
