QUEST (STUDIO)

This is the third time we've stayed here - this visit we were there for the Six60 concert in the new stadium. We like the location (a short walk to the stadium) and rooms are available with kitchenettes. The previous two visits we had one bedroom rooms with a well equipped kitchen. This time we went for a studio room which had a very basic kitchenette, but okay for our needs. The room was a good size and the heater worked well (it was very cold), the bed and pillows were comfy. Staff were friendly.

This hotel is quite simple, but our room was large and comfortable, with a great shower. It doesn't have a restaurant and doesn't serve breakfast, but there are numerous bars and restaurants close by. Its location is excellent!

Old tired and disappointing hotel, I would recommend staying elsewhere in Christchurch. Lift and hallways constantly smell from Indian restaurant below. Rooms ore very noisy, poorly furnished and very unappealing to come back to, it is not worth the money. We left after one night and happy to cut losses to lose our 2nd night Accom. Only positive is staff are friendly and try their best.
