After over 30 hours journey from Chicago to Christchurch, my two boys were so grumpy, Kevin(older brother) kept saying this is the worst trip ever. Then we arrived at our first stop on the way to Mt Cook, All season's lodge. Margret welcomed us and showed us our rooms. We got 2 upstair rooms with 2 full bath, what a good surprise. The best part is, when my wife and I were unpacking, Kevin disappeared, then we saw him in the farm, on a trailer, mustering a flock of sheep! Kevin had a great time with Brian, and totally recovered from the frustration of the long trip. Brian then took our family to meet all his animals, 3 pigs, some chicken, lots of sheep and cow, 2 alpaca, 2 dears and 2 elks. Their dog, Blue, is super nice. The B&B is great inside out. The breakfast is awesome. Kevin urged me to give 6 stars on tripadvisor. We are so lucky to stay in all seasons for our first day in New Zealand. All of our family are totally recovered next morning. The lodge is close to a small town Fairlie, per Margret's recommendation, we had dinner at a restaurant called Carnegies, it was great too. I think it's the best food we had during our stay in New Zealand. I can't say enough good words about all seasons. If you have young kids, it's a perfect place to stay. Even you don't have a family or kids, you will still enjoy the lodge.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay at a very relaxing, beautifully located B&B. Margaret and Brian were friendly hosts providing us with good information on the local area. Room was a comfortable annex with full length windows overlooking the pretty garden with wide ranging views across the plains. Breakfast was nicely laid out each morning with a good choice of cooked and continental

All Seasons Lodge, owned and run superbly by Brian and Margaret is a wonderful example of being made to feel at home, yet at the same time being pampered! After being greeted warmly by Brian, Margaret and Blue we were shown to the Garden Room which is surrounded by a beautiful, colourful garden and just beyond that, the paddocks where the sheep and goats were grazing. Such a peaceful place to relax and use as a base to visit Tekapo and Mt. Cook. We had drinks inside with Brian and Margaret both nights and really enjoyed their company. Brian's delicious cooked breakfasts are an excellent start to the day and we also followed their recommendations for dinner and they were spot on! We loved All Seasons Lodge and would love to return one day.
