DUKE OF MARLBOROUGH (SUPERIOR)

Had a magnificent lunch on a beautiful, sunny winter day. Richard, who hosted our table was wonderful. Knowledgable, friendly, funny and professional. The market fish and abalone risotto were delicious.

I contemplated dinner here and when I requested a menu I was told to get one from reception. Whilst sitting out on a balcony enjoying a beer I was bombarded with the set up for dinner that was not done quietly at all. The staff were swearing and the boss lady was just that...very bossy, very loud and quite off putting while trying to enjoy the moment.

We have just held a second family wedding at this venue. The staff were very accommodating, the wedding breakfast was appropriate and it was a charming location for a wedding.
