Comfort Inn Cascades

Very pleasant welcome. Beautiful setting. Studio room with mini kitchenette. Dirty windows bcp with spider web bcp! . Uncomfortable bedding. Really soft mattress. We should do it again. Questionable cleanliness on closer inspection. Cattle in shower and bathtub tray.

This was a one night stopover and despite being on a main road, it was not noisy. The host was welcoming and made sure everything was OK The room was clean and tidy

My wife and I, with our little dog, stayed at this lovely Motel twice during May 2025. We had different rooms on both occasions and both rooms were very spacious and spotlessly clean. Our little dog really loved being so close to the Lake and we were able to give her good long walks on both stays. The Owner/ Manager was excellent, polite and helpful, and the heat pumps in our rooms (one in each room) worked very well indeed. Everything in our rooms worked and we felt that the Motel was positioned excellently by the Lake. There was good parking in front of our accommodation and we will, definately, be back again to stay at this excellent and NOT EXPENSIVE accommodation in Taupo. We can recommend Cascades as a very good and reasonably priced Motel near the centre of Taupo town.
