Advertised as a Luxury B&B. Personally I think this is a stretch! All in darkness/cold upon arrival including guest lounge but manager/owner did offer to light the fire if we wanted! NO b’fast, given a voucher to the local café in town!! One b’fast & one drink each. Bear in mind that this B&B is out of town, so you have to drive. Sorry this is not good enough. The rooms are large, wood paneled with minimal décor so do feel lodge-like, but the lighting is terrible & furniture office-like. I thought we had been given the room with disabled access but maybe this is just the layout for all rooms. Bed large & very comfy. We had a slight glimpse of that fantastic view on offer. Bathroom. Spacious with large shower cubicle & loved the underfloor heating. Wanted to wear the robes but we weren’t even sure if they were clean as just hanging off a hanger all creased. There was a ‘vacancies’ sign out the front so clearly open for business. I can only comment on our experience. This accommodation was booked via our agent so we will be giving them this feedback too.

Magical place close to the glaciers... everything was serene, super comfortable... our room was huge! Huge bathroom... staff at the top... smiles, welcome... perfect!
