What a fantastic place to stay. Sue-Ellen made us so welcome from the time we arrived. And then to offer us drinks at 5 was the best. The breakfast we had was great - one of the best we have had during our visir to NZ. Our room was spotless and the bed so comfortable. The view from the room was beautiful. Sue-Ellen shared a wealth of information on best places to eat and where to visit during our stay in the area. The glow worm cave near by was an added extra. Would definitely recommend a stay at the Rimu Lodge.

What a fantastic place, from the warm welcome on arrival, the drinks on the patio at 5 and the best breakfast we had in New Zealand (and Australia) lots of information on where to eat and what to see . We only stayed the one night , the rooms were spotless and beds very comfortable . The shower was hot and powerful . As an ex publican with B&B rooms , I know how much work and effort has to go into the running and preparation of the rooms etc and this lodge is up there with the best

Rimu Lodge is an exceptional property. Everything is immaculately clean and the hosts could not have been more friendly / helpful. Although we only stayed for 1 night at the property, we were made very welcome and the service and attention to detail was outstanding. We would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful property.
