Secure parking lot was the was good. And the towels were nice. Those were the only good things. The air conditioning didn't work initially, and the two women working there wouldn't believe me, saying the unit was new. After finding a different remote control, they got it going. The room was tiny, though clean. No hot water until I mentioned it... they had to go turn it on. No bottled water available... Not even for a price... Needed to walk to a corner market even for water. No drinks or food available... Breakfast not available. They charged 5% extra for credit card.
The city of Granada, a few minutes away, has beautiful little hotels with breakfast included for the same price. So I will not stay at this hotel again.

Our one night stay was courtesy of our credit card rewards but I’d pay to stay again for sure. We were very impressed with the welcoming & friendly employees along with the beautiful and cozy accommodations. Although the pool was inviting - we didn’t have time to take a dip. Breakfast was offered at an extremely reasonable price but we normally just roll into lunch so we passed on the opportunity. We would most certainly stay here again and highly recommend the hotel!

Spent a night here passing through Masaya. A garishly decorated place in communal areas but the room was grim although it had plenty of bed space - a huge bed & another double, but nothing by the bedsides to put anything on - no light besides an awful blue-ish main light. I didn’t feel it was particularly clean. Pillows didn’t smell clean. Bathroom had airbricks around the top to the ceiling & was extremely basic. Couldn’t get shower hot. Sleep quality was not good. I was woken up by the dog barking at 3:15 a.m followed by a loud intermittent buzzing sound which went on for over an hour. Sounded like someone using a drill but for the duration I thought someone was trying to get into the hotel & was too scared to put my ear plugs in. Turned out none of the noise was within the control of the hotel but it is centrally located & therefore you are subject to other nightly noise. The best thing about the place was the manager/reception guy. His English was extremely good, he has a very nice demeanour. It wasn’t overpriced particularly for the quality, however I wouldn’t stay again given the choice but I don’t think there is much choice in Masaya.
