Novotel Port Harcourt

I was here on business for two nights. In general, the hotel chain Novotel is recommended. This hotel is a spacious and safe establishment. However, the pictures on the website are somewhat outdated, and it gives the impression that not much maintenance has been carried out in the last 20 years. On the last day, water leaked from a light fixture above the mirror in the bathroom onto my body. There could have also been electricity involved. The staff is generally attentive, but overall, it does not meet the European standard of 3-4 stars; it is more like two stars. If you need a hairdryer, I would recommend bringing one along with a plug adapter. Not available in the room and possibly obtainable at the reception. In the outdoor area, you can sit comfortably, and playing tennis is possible.

The Receptions were neat and cordial, the room was neat and the housekeepers were deligent. The only improvement is on the room service, there were delays and you have to call several times

Good food and welcoming staff from the reception to the house keeping staff. Notable staff are all the reception/kitchen staff and a few of the house keeping staff like Jane and Esther. Would 100% recommended
