I have worked as a hotel receptionist for several years, and therefore know well what to expect. Upon check-in we were greeted by a receptionist who seemed completely uninterested and rejecting, and who did not give us a single smile. We had ordered and paid extra for sea views, but because of the distance and trees, we could so far only skim the sea far there forward. Not worth paying extra for. Two lamps in the room did not work either. We stayed for three days, and no room service saved up beds, or emptied the boss.(the hotel we live at now, they came to the room while we were eating breakfast!) We had early departure, and asked to get some breakfast, at least to our son, about 15 minutes before they were to open for breakfast, but was rejected. Never again this hotel.

and a very, very good breakfast. The area around the hotel is not exciting but it easy to take the bus to the city centre ( 25 mind).

Very good stay from start to finish. Already at check-in we were greeted by a positive, pleasant and routine male employee at the reception on Friday 15.05.26 around 6 p.m. He informed us that the hotel had the concert buffet both Friday and Saturday, which was a big plus. We chose the hotel because of the proximity to Unity Arena and our daughter’s desire to go to the Olivia Dean concert Saturday 16.05.26. The service was impeccable throughout our stay. Smiling and welcoming staff greeted us everywhere – in the front desk, at the bar, during breakfast and among the cleaning staff. At the 17.05.26 check-out at 13 o'clock we were also greeted by a very nice and kind bunaded receptionist, Simone I think her name. There was a lot of people this weekend due to events and concerts in Unity Arena, as well as May 17 and many tourists, but the hotel handled this very well. Bus stop just outside the hotel was gold worth. The gym was actually the best I've spent on a hotel in this chain. It was very well equipped with heavy manuals, bench presses and several appliances so I could complete my regular workout program. A big plus. The hotel is also very conveniently located with Kiwi and shopping center nearby. My daughter found nice jogging opportunities from the hotel down towards Bygdøy and Kongsgården and back again. Breakfast is as expected at Quality Hotel – good and solid. Clarion may have a slightly wider selection, but here you will find absolutely everything you need for a good start to the day. There is no need for a huge selection. Also a big plus that there were visible weights and guards throughout the weekend.
