Poor experience due to poor standard in the room. In addition, the pool was closed, and this was the only reason we chose this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel as a part of the Best of Scandinavia Kesari Group Tour. The beds, the bed linen and amenities were excellent. This was a quiet and comfortable hotel facilitating good sleep. The breakfast served was varied and of very good quality. The staff hosts were friendly and welcoming . Overall a highly rated experience and a highly recommended hotel. A note for international tourists includes the room locking system. The room doors do not have a standard lock and chain system. The room locks are operated electronically. I requested the reception staff to assist me to ensure that I was familiar with this new system. The reception staff were extremely cooperative. However at check out time after breakfast there was some sort of a power outage and I was concerned about using the electronic locking system of my room. It was check out time anyways so I did not pursue the issue or try the locking system. The tour guests were not accommodated in rooms within closer proximity or level so getting help within the tour group is difficult. Also late check ins and early check outs can be a bit concerning. As a hotel policy it is better to accommodate tour group guests within closer proximity. Some hotel rooms in Scandinavia do not have a phone in the hotel room and there is no direct connection to get help from the reception staff. This can be stressful when international tourists are unaware of more recent upgrades and are not adequately informed either by the hotel staff or information brochures of dealing with unexpected changes and possibilities with extremely limited tourist assistance. However overall the hotel is highly recommended.

Would have rated 5/5, but the receptionist who (barely) greeted us on arrival seemed bored and uninterested. Didn’t even give basic information like breakfast times. Pillow in room not good either, way to flat. Plastic furniture in room also gets a minus.
