Best Western Kampen

Got assigned a room that someone was already staying in. I was granted a new room. Here heavy air hit us, there was a floor fan in the room. No sleep at all when it was too hot and no air. Paid for breakfast but had no gluten free option. Kitchen worker fingers with airpods while he was cooking. In the kitchen(can see in there from dining room) Ikkje good! And lose appetite immediately! Nobody could Norwegian neither in reception nor per tlf The only positive was that the cleaning was good in the room Worst hotel experience in Norway, and there have been many nights in different hotels

I would strongly advise others to think carefully before staying at this hotel. My stay started badly as my room had a leak coming from the boiler, which was disappointing and should have been identified before the room was allocated. On top of that, the parking situation is extremely poor. There are very limited spaces available, making it difficult and stressful if you're travelling by car. However, the biggest issue came after I checked out. I accidentally left my AirPods in my room. After confirming they had been found, I arranged and paid for a courier to collect them and return them to me. Unfortunately, the hotel sent me someone else's AirPods instead of my own. Since then, I have made numerous phone calls and sent multiple emails trying to resolve what is clearly the hotel's mistake. Despite all my efforts, the manager has completely ignored my correspondence, and the hotel has refused to take responsibility or send me my actual AirPods. Mistakes can happen, but it's how a business deals with them that really matters. The complete lack of customer service, communication, and accountability has been incredibly frustrating. What should have been a simple issue to resolve has turned into an unacceptable experience. I cannot recommend this hotel based on the poor maintenance, inadequate parking, and, most importantly, the appalling aftercare and customer service. I certainly won't be returning.

Worst hotel ever. Nothing was like the pictures and what was promised. Staff speaking English and everything felt unserious. Warm rooms with dirty floors and stinky smell. Everything felt disgusting. The bathroom was very small and the toilet ring couldn’t even stand up. I want to WARN EVERYONE to NOT book this!! It’s a scam! It ruined our trip.
