Best Western Oslo Airport Hotel

**Nice reception and clean room, but poor service at the bar** I had a good first impression of Best Western Plus Oslo Airport. The staff at the front desk was very nice, welcomed me well and gave good information about the hotel facilities and membership benefits. There is also a big plus that the hotel offers free coffee and tea. The hotel room was neat and clean. However, there were some signs of wear, including on the tiles, and the joints in the bathroom should be followed up. Breakfast was quite simple and had a good selection of hot dishes. However, I missed fresh juice and a better selection of bakeries. The selection consisted largely of finished cake pieces of the kind you can also buy in grocery stores. What significantly reduces your stay is the bar experience. The employee there appeared to be insufficient. I noticed that she shone with her eyes and spoke reluctantly to the client in front of me. When it was my turn, I also experienced lack of eye contact and a sour and abandoned tonefall. Unfortunately, this gave a very bad impression and was in stark contrast to the good service at the reception. Otherwise, the hotel is conveniently located with a short distance to the airport. There is shuttle service, and it is also possible to walk if you have plenty of time and about an hour at your disposal.

Great hotel for overnight stay close to the airport. Breakfast choice was excellent and shuttle efficient. We’d choose to stay here again.

LOCATION: Right across the road from Gardermoen Parking and one of the Radisson hotels and right next to a Scandic hotel. The hotel was formerly called Gardermoen Guesthouse. Shuttle bus S55 every half-hour to and from the airport for NOK 80 per adult per route, and tickets can be purchased, for example, in the Vy app. It's cheaper to take the local bus (see Ruter), but it doesn't stop right outside the hotel entrance. The hotel cooperates with a local taxi company that offers fixed rates to and from the terminal. ROM: We had an ordinary double room with normally good beds and diners/ cushions. Small rooms and not suitable for longer stays, and unfortunately only one chair (there should have been two chairs in a twin room). It was winter, and the heating cables in the bathroom worked well, and it was easy to set the temperature in the room itself. Water kettle and coffee/tea bags, but cups were missing in our room (probably a forgetting). RENHOLD: We got a good impression and found nothing lacking. FOOD: For dinner we had today’s soup (a mushroom soup), and it was very good. We also had Western Burger and it was also good. Breakfast with good selection. A small kiosk in the reception with, among other things, bagets. SERVICE: Good information upon arrival. The cleaners and other staff greeted the guests they met. Free coffee/tea at the reception. Also got a bag with a small kit for use in the room or travel, but it was probably just because we are Best Western Rewards members. PARKING: The hotel has a lot of parking spaces, and most of them are under the roof, a kind of open P-house with everything on one floor. Parking can be registered on the ATM at the reception. The prices are on their homepage, but we could take advantage of a special promotional offer for just over NOK 1,200 including double room and breakfast and parking for a week.
