Klaekken Hotell

This is the 5th time we organize a seminar for all employees at Klækken. From the first contact with the hotel, they are excellent at assisting in planning. The cost level is moderate and it is absolutely “value for money”. The processing is crack-free and the food is fantastic. Very nice and intimate hotel. Recommend everyone to arrange and contact. Of course seminar number 6 will be added to Klækken hotel

22/7: Informed the front desk that we knew we were a little early, but if it was possible to check in. I got a clear "no, check-in is at 15." We waited therefore. He was told to check if the room was ready anyway. He stayed away for a while and helped other guests at the reception and answered a few calls afterwards. Went away to hear about the update when he was available in case he had forgotten us. Received then a response in a small sour tone “I said yes I should notify”. The room was ready and we got checked in a little earlier. Survived the same receptionist in conversation with some guests who asked if there could be ordered lunch. The receptionist replied, “Yes, but it is not allowed to eat outside.” In such a way that the others around us perceived it as if he suspected that they were not coming to comply with the rules. The guests replied that they had eaten outside the day before. Then the receptionist, clearly irritated, replied, “It was yesterday, not today” before he saw the indication that someone in the restaurant must have allowed something that was not allowed and therefore directed them further to inquire with the restaurant. Poor handling of receptionist for any disagreement with staff in the kitchen and which areas are accepted serving and not. Large family room in refurbished part. Old bath. Double bed, sofa bed and travel bed for children. Stand ready fan. We had requested this in advance. This helped so and say nothing. The room was almost endured to stay in and both children and adults struggled with sleep. Barman / waitress the evening 22/7 and for dinner during private celebration 23/7 draws up. Both adults and children were happy with him. Good dinner. Nice garden, good outdoor and indoor pool, several sitting areas around the hotel area. It's a pity it's obviously not facilitated for serving meals out. This is a hotel a typical associator with summer and where one imagines that all meals are possible to enjoy outside.

It was ok. Not super fresh. Cramped rooms and very hot at night (no AC or fan). For that price I still thought it would be nicer. Very nice staff and quite okay breakfast anyway.
