Radiumhospitalet Hotel

Have had a stay here due to illness.3 meals a day,good food.Very helpful and nice service.A little lift down to radiation is also a plus 😀

I was in for examinations in early November and needed a place to be/sleep for 3 days. Even called the hotel to hear if there was room available for me. This I think no patient should have to deal with on their own, as one has more than enough to deal with in a situation that cancer sick in greater or lesser degree. That should be arranged by the radium hospital. The lady who answered me seemed almost overwhelming that I called to book a room and answered only.. No, it's full here, so you have to find another hotel. Something I did in the center and I felt very uncomfortable,when I was alone in an unknown place. A little while later, the date for surgery comes and I call to get a room at this hotel for me and my relatives. Said that I would like to book rooms from date to a few days after surgery with accompaniment. She replied No. Here we don't have any available rooms and there won't be any. You get a rim at Ullevoll patient hotel, there are 4 buses per hour up here. Been then fucked up and called to a number inside on Radiumen. There I spoke to a cosy lady and learned that I was not going to any patient hotel, not any bus after surgery and stay lying in the department. A relative has arranged a room with a friend in Oslo.

A lot of bad food, and little friendly staff in the kitchen. Otherwise very okay to stay at the hotel, as it is easy to get to the hospital.
