The location of the hotel, approx. 250m from the harbor, and the walkability of many sights prompted us to book, among other things. We were not disappointed, the clean room, nice bathroom, absolutely quiet, and the outstanding, rich breakfast buffet. All employees are friendly and nice.

Excellent location. Very good breakfast. Clean, good bathroom and shower. Comfortable bed. Cool room in hot weather. Yes air con is a bit noisy but didn’t bother us as we were happy to be cool and the noise was a constant so easily ignored. Great view of Norway Football team homecoming parade through our window.

The hotel is located right in the center and is very easy to find. For a city trip, the location is ideal, as many sights are easily reachable on foot. The rooms are simple and rather classically furnished. The bathrooms also no longer meet the latest standard, but they are clean and perfectly adequate for a short stay. A note regarding the hotel's own parking garage: It is practical, but it is built very tightly and has narrow, winding entrances. With a larger vehicle, parking and pulling out is a real challenge. In addition, we found the parking garage quite dirty and generally poorly maintained for the price of 50 CHF per night. In our view, there is room for improvement here. The staff should be highlighted positively. All staff members were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating, which made us feel welcome at all times. Overall, the hotel is a good choice for a city trip due to its excellent location. Those who do not place great value on modern rooms and can live with the limitations of the parking garage will spend a pleasant stay here.
