Sykt overpriced hotel for poor standard of hotel and room. The entire hotel resembles camp school and you will be given a physical key to the room. Probably not cleaned up since the 90s! Paid 2600,- NOK for 1 night which I will consider as a robbery on highlight day! But they sit a little in monopoly situation and can take whatever they want of tourists on tour. No ventilation or AC in the rooms. Mosquito on the bottom of the shower. The TV selection is narrow on the hotel TV. The picture on the website of the room was taken several years ago and does not look like this today. Probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. If there is a franchise hotel in the Scandic chain there is someone who must work or terminate an appointment with this hotel. The hotel is not recommended!

The hotel is located at seashore with mountains around which offers pure Scandinavian experience. Rooms though not very spacious, are well furnished and maintained. Food is good. The location is quiet and no noise. It is near to the port and other attractions.

The hotel is part of the Scandic chain, quality hotels. It overlooks the port, but the entrance is on the other side, on the street. It has free private parking on the port side, but it does not include many spaces. Some of them allow the car to be charged electrically. However, we did not understand how they could be used, as the information given to us was contradictory. The hotel has a large number of rooms. Ours was beautiful and nice, overlooking the harbour, we will choose not to dine in the hotel and we will go to a small restaurant at very decent prices close to the hotel. It’s not the only restaurant nearby and there’s even a pizza truck on the harbor. Breakfast is taken on the floor below the reception. It is very well supplied; we find everything we want. The setting is pretty and one of the advantages of the hotel was that we were close to the north cape. We recommend it.
