Superb hotel, lovely breakfast. One minus was the bar at the hotel, the lady who stood there was not so nice had nothing of what we wanted - strange actually in such a good hotel, when we finally got booked - then it was served in something like kitchen glass. Great hotel, but this was a bit disappointing..

Do not trust Scandic Hamar - they do not understand what is the "reservation" concept. You must not only accept the reservation, but you must also keep the reservation. Booked through Hotels.com but when I got there after a long trip, tired and hungry, on check-in day that 10PM / 22 July 2026 - the girl in the counter said "sorry we are overbooked", but we booked you another hotel in the centre of Hamar which turned out to be much lower standard with noise from the street etc.

Clean rooms, delicious breakfast. Minus - parking and lack of information about its payment (there was no information that payment in the underground parking lot must be made in advance). I found it out in time and paid, but other guests were fined in the morning.
