Clarion Bergen Airport

Excellent location within a 2 minute walk of the new terminal building at Bergen Flesland airport. I arrived late but was still given a warm efficient welcome and even provided with a sandwich as the restaurant and bar had closed. Room was clean and comfortable but lacked a usb charging port, unfortunately. The breakfasts at this hotel are probably the best hotel breakfasts that I've had in years, a splendid spread and great variety. Calm, efficient and friendly atmosphere throughout my stay.

Check-in was effective, little personal but ok. Received room upgrading as a platinum member, so full score to the hotel there. The room was big and nice. The bathroom was pleasant and had both shower and bathtub. What pulls down is the restaurant. I ordered steak, where 3/4 parts were uneatable. Seight. A lot of fat. The fries were too well fried and uneatable. I, little lady, am still hungry. Tell this to the first waitress. She's just smiling. Takes it up with waitress number 2 and she “understands” the problem and gives me a menu and gives the impression that this “she fixes”. I'm ordering a little right to, chicken wings where several of them are microscopic. Then she comes with the bill, then this small dish is also on the menu but I have received a “generous” 15% discount on the main dish itself since the fries were exceeded. Iron characters to all the waiters at the restaurant (and the chef) except for an incredibly nice young boy (who was from another country, does not remember what he said). He was incredibly professional! I couldn't argue anymore, paid and left. When they turn out to be so unprofessional and unresponsive, I can't let the rest of the day be ruined. The food looks very good on the menu. It is tailored to different needs but the chefs do an incredibly bad job. Recommend the hotel but call Foodora instead!

Clarion Hotel Bergen Airport delivered at all points. Spacious and clean rooms, efficient check-in and short distance to the terminal – just what you need when traveling. The buffet breakfast was also a plus. Very good hotel, will not hesitate to book again.
