I booked at TH Kristiandsund for 4 times. This hotel on the Inland is a perfect option for those who want to stroll around the city of Kristiansund with Sundbåten only 3 min walk from the hotel. We booked ourselves for a couple nights here again and were very satisfied. Satisfied with both service, comfort and breakfast. Here you get everything in one place. Has all times had the room with sea view. Fantastic. It's nice to lie down and listen to waveworms and moose screams. If I'm going to give some rice at this hotel it's a pair of petty things that I would like to categorize as a 'girl thing' for my part. 1. The refrigerator in the room did not work. When you get both water bottle at check-in and possibly purchasing yourself drinking along the way that you wish to keep cool. This was a minus. Got an offer for champang cooler filled with ice bits instead. 2. Breakfast was very good, but where was the bacon? They have mirror legs, but no bacon. This was a miss. Maybe I'm too 'good won' with hotel breakfast as I have travelled from Østlandet and to North Norway before taking the trip over to Vestlandet and Kristiansund. So yes, it has become a lot of hotel nights and hotel breakfasts. Every place had bacon. Not that bacon is a must, but it seems to taste great for mirror legs. Missed also the good cucumber mix that has used to be. But again, a file... The food tastes great! ☺️ A very positive thing I want to highlight is the service of the hotel. My mother is dependent on the rollator and is dependent on parking nearby. What’s with the parking at TH Kristiansund is that there’s not exactly a flood of parking spaces so if you check in a little late it can be difficult to find a place. You'll probably find one, but it's a bit away from the entrance. My father was to leave the next day, but would be back in the afternoon. My mother and I were in Kristiansund. My father had asked in the front desk he was going to travel left again the next day if there was a possibility to possibly help him with parking because my mother is dependent on the rollator. They told my father they couldn't promise anything, but they'd do their utmost to help. When my dad arrived at the hotel again I went to ask the front desk if it had been held by a place in the immediate vicinity of him. I had my doubts when this was something they could promise and keep track of. But joda... At the parking lot along the main building, 3 or 4 parking spaces for the entrance they had set up both cone and Parkeings forbidden sign. Not because this one was closed, but for my father. This I thought was incredibly good service of the hotel. Other places had been told that parking spaces cannot be held off, but at TH Kristiansund they are helpful to those who actually need it. This helped my mother a lot too. So the hotel here can be recommended!!!

The website didn't say an awful lot and describes it as a business hotel, so I was expecting a square box. In fact the building my room was in at least is a lovely old wharf building built pretty much in the edge of the Fjord, so from my window I could look directly down into the sea. Wonderful views over to the town centre from the hotel and my room and nice wooden beams in the room too. Breakfast was excellent and the service for the evening meal was also very good and there is a nice decked area behind the restuarant too. Staff were very friendly and helpful and it was a very peaceful location too. The town centre is easily reached, the free harbour ferry goes from only a couple of minutes away and it does not take long, or there is a bus or you can walk over the bridge (if you have a head for heights!) and it takes about 20 minutes. Room was very clean and well equiped, with tea/coffee, tv, safe and fridge.
