Thon Lofoten

Great hotel! Booked directly on their website and became a member. Stayed for a few nights in Feb 2026. Was able to check in early on arrival and got 2 free sparkling water bottles for being a member. Hotel lobby, lounge and bar were elegant and roomy. There was a drink station in the lobby. We had breakfast here a couple of times, and it was extensive! Hot food, breads, sweets, yogurt/yogurt drinks, juices (including fresh orange juice machine), eggs, coffee, tea, salmon, charcuterie/cheese and accoutrements, make your own juice, veggies, fruits, pancakes, waffles, and a selection of gluten free and vegan items. The biggest hotel breakfast buffet I have ever seen! Room was clean and included coffee/tea, mini fridge/cash bar, robes, and toiletries. Comfy bed with fluffy comforters and different sized pillows. We had unexpected issue with private accommodation booking during a family trip. Thon Hotel Lofoten was able sort us two rooms and parking late Sunday evening. Staff at the hotel were super friendly and helpful. We got extra attention and better suited room to accommodate our mobility challenged traveller. Also breakfast buffet was great and hotel location excellent. Thanks for the hotel staff for their support in turning a stressful evening into a pleasant night and great morning!

Hotel with a warm atmosphere. Ideally located. Tastefully furnished room. Good bedding, small bathroom, very limited shower space. Decent dinner, excellent breakfast, very large selection of food, however, tables are very close together.
