Thon Hotel Halden

Hat 3 days here on holiday, great location lovely breakfast and great rooms. Will definitely come back here.

Location was good, breakfast was excellent and the free tea and coffee is a nice touch. However, the room was incredibly inadequately lit. The only lighting in the main bedroom area was the bedside lights. There was no lighting at all over the desk, so you couldn't have worked there, or over the area for luggage, so it was difficult to pack and unpack. Room was also very stuffy.

Hotel ok and reception in the evening somewhat slow, but fine enough. Breakfast bad. All of the hot food was cold. Poor selection of bread. Not the usual Thon standard unfortunately
