They opened breakfast 30 minutes early to accommodate our departure at 6am. The staff was fantastic! Beautiful hotel in the center of the action in Stavanger.

A large, well-run establishment with a prime waterfront location, well-appointed lobby, and spacious, comfortable rooms. It is within walking distance of the Lysefjord ferry and central train and bus station. It is close to Øvre Holmegate, known by locals as Fargegata (The Colorful Street) with its many bars and restaurants, entertaining street art, and charming historic buildings. The breakfast buffet is well-organized and briskly-served, and the breakfast room has good light and nice views; a very pleasant way to start the day. Creative cocktails, delicious hot appetizers and polished, attentive service at the adjoining Salon du Nord bar were the "icing on the (Victorian) cake". Tips: If you have an early train to catch and need a to-go breakfast, make sure you ask the desk early in the day (I was told I should have gotten our request in before the breakfast staff leaves). Second tip: If view is important, I suggest calling ahead to request a waterfront view–-we found ourselves with a view of the roof of courtyard, with lots of other windows.

Fantastic hotel where the renovation of the hotel has kept its style.. nice room where there was nothing missing, fantastic beds, breakfast everything the heart desires and where everything took place quietly We will come again
