Quality Floro

Really nice hotel and not your typical American version of a quality inn. Floro is such a lovely little place to stay for the night. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful, got us our two extra pillows for the bed as requested. Lovely foyer area to relax in with lots of comfy settees and chairs, they have a bar also, and a nice outdoor decking area. There is parking at the back of the hotel for maybe about 12 cars which is paid on a machine as you leave, not a big area and hubby was a little worried he would not have a safe parking spot for his car but when we arrived at 5pm on a Saturday, but there was lots of space. Other than this there is parking all around the hotel, all paid for using the app or possibly a machine. Decent size room with a king size bed and the room overlooked the little harbour area which was nice. The room is a little dated but everything in working order and well looked after. The bed was very comfortable. Be careful of the shower, took an age to get warm and if you had it on too high a flow rate it started to leak out into the bathroom. They also had ….tissues!!! On our 3 week touring holiday of Norway, it is not something they have in a hotel for some unknown reason but they had them here. (If travelling in Norway always bring your own tissues if you use them). Breakfast was excellent and had way more than you could wish for. They do have a restaurant in the hotel but we did not eat our evening meal there. Nice stay and would recommend.

Very good hotel helpful staff. Breakfast was fantastic with views of the sea. Coming back, guaranteed.

Always so nice to come back here. Friendly staff, extra good breakfast with great variety. Cute combination reception/bar with option for an extra cup of coffee. Central location at the harbour in Florø.
