Best family hotel I have stayed in, super friendly staff, lots of activities and games, water park with amenities for everyone. I got to sauna and steam each day. While lounging in the sun looking at the fjord was another highlight. Comfortable rooms, clean, good atmosphere. We will be back- as great vlaue for everyone and a very convenient location.

Long weekend in the heat. Nice location, exterior an architectural disaster, interior completely ok. Room (standard double) spartanly equipped but clean and nice. Lack of refrigerator!! You can afford that, Stordalen. Lack of information about the hotel and Langesund. Good breakfast, pretty much nice service. Such fit satisfied.

Be prepared that the hotel needed modernization, but that the rooms were so tired surprised me. Outdated worn furniture, old carpet floor, old bathrooms with red valves and dirt and old and bad beds. Asked for cleaning during the stay and, but the only thing they did was to empty the garbage and lay out new towels. The bathing area was also very dirty, both in the wardrobe, dining area and in the water. Found plaster, snus diapers and hair everywhere. Incredibly disgusting. And “everything” costs extra, from parking to bathrobes - in addition to a very expensive dinner buffet. However - the service was impeccable, although we experienced the waiters as something overwhelming. If we snugged for a second, both food and drink were cleared away, even though we weren’t done. However, they were very friendly, and the kids cheered with a playroom, pool and Lollo & Bernie. Unfortunately for us adults, it was not a very good experience at that price.
