I have a long history with this hotel many years ago, and found it was very great with the upgrades made, also with nice rooms. But the ending was miserable! It's about parking. We arrived in the evening and she at the front desk said we could park along the road or right across the street. We found a place across the street, and so we had to pay on the app. All right. But we had to have the alarm on ringing at 8:00 to start the parking app. Thus we could say goodbye to a lazy morning When the clock approached 10:00 I was to renew the parking it did not, I had to go out and move the car to another parking area. In other words, you can only park for 2 hours at the selected location. Then we decided to just pack and drive on. When I got out, there was a parking lot on the route. Namely not allowed to park where she in the reception said we could park. The allowed parking spaces were a little further away. I went to the front desk and said that this was bad for me, since I had been referred to that place. I got spoken to the director, and at the same time there came another guest also with parking bot. We stood for a while and discussed with the director, but she only dismissed us and seemed fairly arrogant in the face of us. If she had at least regretted, it might have been a little better. But she just said that she couldn't do anything about this, and that was our problem and not hers. Nor did she say anything about instructing those at the reception to give better referrals. In other words, this hotel has lost us as customers, but I guess the director doesn't care. It can also be mentioned that there was rationing on bacon, and it was apparently not possible to get bacon without eggs, a bit of bacon per egg.

We stayed 2 nights here and had a great stay. The hotel has become so nice after the last renovation! We had a big nice room, with good beds, 2 good chairs + table, and great bathroom. We slept well here. Good and varied breakfast with something for every taste, including cheesecake one day. Clean and nicely everywhere. Good service from all staff. Great parking options. Short distance to everything; including shopping malls, cafes, recreational venues and restaurants, fastboat kayak and coastal routes. We'd love to come back.
