Quality Hotel & Resort Kristiansand

Tired hotel with dirty rooms with spindle fabric in the ceiling. Booked a superior room for a family of 5 and had to ask twice at the reception to get an extra bed. The woman who came with the extra bed was nice and helpful. Arrive at the hotel 45 minutes before check-in at 1600. The room was ready, but we had to pay 200 kroner to be able to get the room after having paid 9000kr for two nights. It's the first time we've ever experienced. Originally, we planned to have dinner at the hotel for 2 days, but after that we chose to buy dinner in the zoo for 2 days. The sink in the bathroom is tight. Do not choose Scandic Southland again.

Fight hot in the rooms - could not have the windows open due to traffic noise from e18. Small dirt all over the room, tightly switch off the bath so when you showered was the whole bath one plaster pool. Dinner buffet was a big disappointment. Same with breakfast. (The breakfast hosts were really nice) the service was generally slow and seemed tired of work and people. Good location - relative to the zoo. A little more affordable than living in the park. But was the first to last time we used Scandic.

This is not a hotel destination. You stay here at great expense because it is close to the zoo or convention centre. We paid about 250€/£ a nigh5 for a tiny bedroom, no chair or desk. The breakfast buffet was ok, but not great, the dinner buffet was good. The ambiance is more motel than 250 bucks a night. Our reason for staying is the kids and Pokecon. Adults stay somewhere else.
