The best thing about Thon Hotel Horten is the nice atmosphere, the fantastic food and the very service-oriented staff. One feels really well taken care of during the stay. The hotel is also nicely located by the port area of Horten, which contributes to the positive experience. What reduces the overall impression is above all the prices of food and alcohol. They feel unnecessarily loud. A main course can cost over NOK 500, and a dinner for two people with a beer, a glass of wine and an Irish Coffee ended up at about NOK 2,200. If you stay several days in Horten, it will therefore be almost necessary to look for cheaper options for lunch and dinner outside the hotel. In conclusion, this is a very nice hotel with a high level of service and excellent food, but restaurant prices negatively affect the experience. I'd still love to go back.

Good breakfast. Stayed in the building next to the hotel. Small bed and small room. Not quite clean in the bathroom, there were pink strips between the tiles in the bathroom. Discovered a silver beast in the bathroom. There was dead scratch roll around the room.

Excellent very, kind staff , very nice place, clean place , nice breakfast, i have been here form past 15 yrs :)
