Antara Hotel

When I arrive at the hotel I was taken to my room by Diego. I asked him to show me where the safety deposit box was. I then asked for the hotel code so that I can change it and put my own code. He tried many codes and said that he better give me a key, I kept there my passport, money, etc. I used cash for everything. Two days before my departure, I took $300 to go the casino next door and when I wanted to cash it for Soles, the cashier told me that it was false. I went to the money exchange next door and they told me the same. They asked me if I was staying at the Hotel next door Antara and I said yes. They told me then that they had the same issue with 5-6 guest staying in this hotel. Obviously some people have access to the safety deposit boxes. The management did not even give me a discount or reimburse me the $300 stolen from the safety deposit box, all the manager said that they were investigating. This hotel was highly recommended to me by a friend. but I certainly will never recommend it and I will never stay there again.

Rafael was super rude to us at breakfast. We were just seated outside and when we went to serve ourselves in the buffet he asked us to change places. There were plenty of free spaces in the restaurant area, so that was not a problem. A family of 3 latinos specifically asked him to move us out of our table to have it, and instead of telling them to seat elsewhere and use judgement, he told us to change table. We were discrimated for no reason, probably we were women and not latinos. The worst is that they have a clear sign in the eating area stating that discrimination is prohibited. This guy should get fired because he doesn't speak English in a hotel restaurant and discriminates non latinos.
