Royal Inka Pisac

Some ups, some downs. Good: walking distance to pisac (on shoulder of road), huge room, room view of mountain, looks like they have some games but we didnt try them. Breakfast was good. Downs: the shower was a bit of a mystery, the mud room was cold. The hotel was quite empty except for us. Im curious when high season is.

The first night was on my own, but the other 2 were part of a tour group, but I was by myself. The room was average, but clean. The area is nice. Breakfast is better than average. They put me in the back 40 of the hotel where there was NO paint on the walls and constant construction w/ pounding and tools which was quite noisy and disruptive of my rest. I think I was given a lesser quality room or location than what my itinerary was supposed to offer. SERVICE WAS RUDE- they totally singled me out as compared to my fellow travelers. I was given a different check out time (hour earlier); 2 of the days I was told I was not allowed breakfast. To hold my bags at the desk, they told me NO. Then when they knew I was part of a group they told me only if they whole group was. I explained even though we stayed as a group, our travel plans/needs were individual. So then they said only 1 bag, to which I advised nvm I'll just hang at the hotel until shuttle time in the lobby. Only then did they agree to hold the bags for a few hours so I could see the city before it was time to go. I used the laundry services and they lost a shirt of mine. Due to my prior difficulties I just paid for the service and didn't address it. No one else in my group had these difficulties or were met w any adversity. I'm always polite, I'm a Keep it simple stupid type w/ low expectations. The others, witnessed some of it and didn't understand why I was being treated in such a manner. The property is nice and but I would never stay there again because of how I was treated and how it put a huge damper on my dream trip. More Date of stay: May 2024

We paid for 1 night with buffet lunch, and when we came to eat there was nothing and they told us that the buffet was over, we are 25 people from different families complaining and they made a couple of dishes for everyone. Claiming that the people who came before ate everything.
