Review for Lukay Las Brisas – Stay from July 12 to 15, 2025 Room booked for my brother I booked a stay here for my brother, and this is based on his feedback: The Good: The staff were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. A major plus was that they allowed an early check-in at 9:00 AM free of charge, which was greatly appreciated. Due to some issues with Suite C, my brother decided to upgrade to Suite B—and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The room was modern, new, and had a stunning sea view. It was definitely the highlight of their stay. The Not-So-Good: They were initially assigned to Suite C, but unfortunately found large cockroaches in the room. Upon checking behind the refrigerator, it appeared quite dirty—suggesting the area hadn’t been properly cleaned for some time, which likely contributed to the pest issue. Also, the regular rooms looked outdated and worn. A renovation would really help enhance the overall guest experience. Overall Score: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3 out of 5) Great service and a fantastic room in Suite B, but cleanliness and maintenance in some areas need improvement.

The location is not too bad for the value. It's in station 1, the beach is less crowded and cleaner. For a 2 star hotel and for budget conscious travelers this is not too bad. The toilet has a certain stench and 1 night our toilet was clogged which was gross. The room was very basic, it doesn't even have a safe in the closet. Shower doesn't work too well, I just used the bucket to rinse. Breakfast will need to be ordered ahead of time, btw there's no phones in the room so you need to go to the dining room to make your order and it's the same set of limited menu they do everyday. Right next to this hotel is Hennan which is a more mid ranged priced hotel. Basically you get the same view, just different amenities. I wouldn't stay here again though. Be wary of the tours being offered by the guys on the beach outside of this hotel. We were poorly guided to our supposedly island hopping tour. The videos and pictures he took using our go pro were all terrible. He didn't even want to get in the water until I demanded that somebody guide us to snorkel. He scammed us out of our money and said the price for the island hopping was 7k for 12 people but once we got to the snorkeling activity he said there's an additional 100 each. We didn't even use their equipment bc we had our own, aside from that he was a poor guide, he used up all the bread in one vicinity to feed the fish and he only brought a bag. Basically we saw a lot of corals and not a lot of fish. How is he only providing 1 bag of bread, that's not enough when there's 10 of us who went in the water and he took us to 3 different islands. Overall, I wouldn't return to Boracay ever. The people in this island are swindlers especially the people offering tours. The beach and shores are unclean, as much as tourists pay terminal fee in and out of this island, yes entering and exiting this island, tourists pay a fee! The least that people who work here can do is to clean their shores and regulate overcrowding. Also there's way too many stores and restaurants in station 2 too close to the beach which add to the pollution and litter. Boracay is a tourist trap and I will never fall for it ever again!

The staff is great and service minded. The rooms are big. But the rooms (and also the pool area) need a makeover. There is no safe in the room, the toilet hardly flushes (you need to use a bucket of water) and the water pressure of the shower is poor. The garden / walk is nice with lots of plants and flowers. Breakfast is very basic: no buffet style. You have to order and have a choice out of the same dishes every day. No fresh juice available and hardly any fresh fruits. Brewed coffee only.
