Reef Retreat Resort

We didn't know that this hotel is so much farther than where the main beach is,my sister has a disabilty, so when we tried to walk back from the main beach to this hotel, she wasn't able to go back anymore.Since we were just waiting for our check in time, We decided to just get my sister a closer room to the beach and cancel our booking, I understand if they will just penalized us but to get the whole 3nights without any consideration or any refund to our situation is just so heartless. This is nit a good place to stay.

We stayed at the resort for five days during August. We chose this place for the value for money and the location, but it turns out that the resort itself is very quiet and the rooms are great. The location: it was right on Bulabog Beach, so it's one minute to walk to any beach activities in the morning, such as island hopping that departs from that location, and just a five minute walk from the restaurants and beach on what looks like a really new strip of restaurants. In fact, I was surprised, the whole area has improved so much over the last few years, it's really like a different place. And ten minutes walking from white beach. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the shower and hot water from the shower worked perfectly! This can often be, erm, problematic, in the Philippines but was fine at this resort. Staff were fine. We will certainly stay again next time we're back, it's really ideal. The room was good, clean, bed was super comfortable and the shower was great - often in Philippines the showers have interesting water temperatures, this one worked perfectly. Thank you very much, very happy.

We were robbed on this place last April20. We were sleeping when unidentified person/persons went inside our room and stole our cash,jewelry and phones. When we found out the incident we ran out to asked for help ,but no security or staff on duty. The police even recovered a kitchen knife on the crime scene. No CCTV's ,No security, No staff on duty during night time. After the incident the management just ditched us kniwing that we dont have cash or phones. We were asking for a refund ,but didnt hear our plead. It was our lives that was threatened that time. We book on this resort thinking we were safe. It was traumatizing and very inhumane ,but the management and the owners just didnt take any actions. We dont.want this to.happen to any other guest what if worst happened they have killed us . They deserve a lesson for this!!!!!!
