Casablanca Suites

The room was quite smelly. Hotel have seen better days. Breakfast mediocre and expensive. Service could be improved too.

We stayed for a week. Located close - 15 min walk/P40 trycicle - to SMC and city center. We had a great view to Mayon. Downstairs nice, clean and the front desk staff has been very nice. However, first floor up the impression changes. The room we had had a good size, but has not seen a broom or duster in a while. The spiderwebs behind and below the bed have been there long time, although we encountered only two cockroaches. We did not use the cabinets which were far too dirty and lived out of the suitcases. The faucets/shower head had buildup to a point that the water sprayed literaly everywhere. Although hot water was available after a while, we had to clean the drain numerous time to get rid of water slowely. No room service or new bed spread change in a week. Aircon was noisy but worked fine. No AirCon in the walkways. Breakfast was rice and meat, just enough portion to get you started, as well as one cup of coffee. 2nd cup cost P60. Suitable for easy to satisfy travelers, although about P-2500 per night is steep for the quality received.

I will just give a list of why I'm rating this hotel poorly, very disappointing experience (I have to share): Small cockroaches seen No hot shower Hot room - the aircon is not able to cool the room appropriately. Poor customer service - we asked for water and they ask us to go down to get it (we are on the 3rd floor and they don't have an elevator). No heater or access to coffee or hot water. Beds are very standard, not soft, just an average room I thought it will be a suite, but it's more of an apartelle feel, not worth the price.
