Eagle Point Resort

A worn down hotel. No beach, no diving. Bad service, bad food. No internet in the room. No telephone to reception. They will charge lots of extras so be careful. I would never go back.

Just created the most memorable time of our lives with the family. Celebrated 3 birthdays during our stay. To my surprise my family of 15 was well taken care of. Staffs and the owner are well service oriented. Respectful and very hospitable with all of our needs. Place is well maintained and clean. Breathtaking views of the resort and the ocean. Rooms are very cozy and neat! Multiple activities to choose from. Definitely worth it! Kudos to the resort for providing an exceptional service by giving us a ride to the resort after our ride broke down. Hands down, y’all went above and beyond our expectation.

Highly recommend not to plan a trip to Eagle Point. The "resort" is in poor repair, the staff are not very helpful at all, the food is shocking, the dive center is run quite poorly and the communication between reception and the dive center is a challenge. Check out is a terrific experience to top off a trip to remember (for all the wrong reasons) - room key is taken from the guest so that housekeeping can check the room. We were then asked another three times for the room key - which they had retained - for housekeeping to check the room. Besides the complete lack of co-ordination, amongst their own staff, it was becoming quite a repeat request so we asked why. It was so housekeeping could count the towels. If towel stealing is such an issue, and no idea why as the quality of linens etc is pretty poor, than possibly put a "towel tax" in place. Have not experienced this in any level of accommodation we have stayed in throughout our travels - pool towels we get it though cheap and worn out bath towels - seriously that was their only concern and not the fact we had to repeat any basic requests dozens of times, sent food back at every meal, was struggling t arrange just basic scuba diving etc.
