The Mediterranean House Restaurant and Hotel

Bad Points: 1. Toilet bowl was clogged upon arrival. Even the room we transferred to had a clogged one! No maintenance staff on call to fix this. 2. No available TV box in the room we checked in. 3. No Wi-Fi and no mobile signal in room!!! 4. Room was poorly lit esp. the sink area. Ceiling which was painted black made the room even more gloomy. 5. Water pressure was too weak. Had to wait for 10 mins before I could rinse off. 6. Water heater took long to heat up. 7. Pics of place were quite deceiving. 8. Price was too expensive for the poor facilities we got. 9. Stairs to the 2nd and 3rd floors were too steep. 10. Toilet was not cleaned well. Good points: 1. Staff were nice, courteous and quite apologetic. 2. Good firm beds. 3. Nice pool. 4. Function rooms were nice. 5. Breakfast was superb! 6. Good parking area. 7. Place is pet friendly. This place really needs a "facelift" and to improve on their facilities esp. WiFi and mobile signals. We won't ever be back. This place is such a waste!

We decided to celebrate our Christmas Holiday at Tagaytay. This place is amazing at photos only! The Place was hard to find the signage was too small. our reservation is weeks ago and this is for two nights reservation. so we are expecting for a clean room. But when we arrived they check first if the room is ready... the Cabinet was dirty the faucet was not working also beday. No TV no Cable and Low Connections of Wifi. The Hotel/House & the room was too dark! Since there is no electricity because of the typhoon, THERE IS ALSO NO WATER!!!! whats worst??? NO GENERATOR! then we decide to get out of this place! and we choose not to stay and waste another night to this Hotel!

We found this place online and stayed there for one night. The entrance is not that nice, but it's okay inside. We avail the connecting room. We were given a complimentary drinks. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the jacuzzi. The staff are very accommodating.
