Yuken Mari Beach Haus

They offer smoothies on the beach, really not bad for the price! The view is beautiful also, can sit in the shade and enjoy your drink. Don't know about accommodation, but the juice bar is nice. Not bad.

Yet another fantastic stay at Yuken Marie!! This time via local phone call while i was on Bantayan Island.. Marie , Elma & team were really busy when i arrived.. The additional big sized fridges for storage of alcoholic & non alcoholic beverages together with more staff , gets busy everyday after 10am.. The external seating area at the edge of the beach , staring out at the open sea , is too appealing for tourists of all nationalities , including Filipinos... Throughout the day , there are walk-in travellers asking about room availability... There were some staying nearby at less than satisfactory accomodations , who moved in 1 or 2 days later... Food is always tasty as usual together with their popular fruit shakes.. What a place to relax.. Thanks to Marie , Elma & Team for giving me another wonderful stay!! 😀😎

Location and food was good although it was not part of our accommodations. But that was just about it. The nice internet picture plus the recommendation from a friend were our basis for this reservation for three days. When we arrived some of the rooms only had a single bed for some of the couples we were with. Luckily my wife and I ended up with a larger bed with a hard mattress. We had ants in our bedroom so we had to keep everything off the floor and zipped up. I hung a wet shirt to dry on a towel bar and the next morning it had a line of rust on it. The bathroom had a wooden slat floor over the tiles so it is difficult for them to make a thorough clean up. As a group we made comments to the owner herself about the deteriorating condition of their facilities but she could not care less because even at that condition she will still have tourists rent her place. Obviously, I am not coming back to be a guest here again. The tourist spots are nice and I took some beautiful pictures but for this certain section of the beach the people do not take care of their garbage properly. We continually had to wave our hands over our food because the flies are competing with us. I am sure there are other parts of this beach that will have less flies.
