Bananaland Cottages

First things first, as others have said, this is not on the beach. You will need to pay $2 USD to get a pass to walk through another hotel to get to the beach. Do it, it is good for your whole trip and cuts the walk from 15 minutes... to 3 minutes. As for the rooms, they are cabanas with all the comforts of a hotel room, nice bed, air con, and hot shower. You do have to remember that you are in a tropical environment and so you may see ants and the occasional millipede on the floor. It didn't bother me in the slightest. The best thing about this place is that its quiet. VERY quiet. I might have heard a rooster or two, but nothing too close to be annoying. That is something you need to be aware of in the Philippines. Breakfast was fine. I never tried lunch or dinner as I was always on the beach for that. All in all, I loved the place and would definitely stay again.

Stayed for seven nights with my girlfriend and found it to be the most amazing place, staff where so friendly, it’s located in beautiful surroundings and only a 2 minute walk to fantastic beach, would recommend this place, thank you bananaland ❤️ See you again
