Bluewater Panglao Beach Resort

This lodging is basic, though clean. If you are looking for something a bit on the fancier side or a bit more posh and comfortable, you perhaps would want to look elsewhere… however, if you enjoy being on the beach, quiet mornings, and evenings. With a lovely restaurants ( limited menu ) and bar… Then you will enjoy this facility. A 20 second walk down the back steps to the beach for a wonderful morning walk or a sunset evening walk in the sand with the ocean lapping over yiur feet. Always some pleasant and enjoyable music playing in the open bar area. The mattresses are not thick though comfortable enough. The Restaurant::: I do recommend the chicken sandwich, very tasty . Teresa and Christy at the front counter, arranged my being picked up from the ferry port, Nick, who was bartending is a very enjoyable young fellow to have a conversation with. Overall, their service is phenomenal. ****Do be advised !!!!!**** once your transportation brings you to the property ( semi close ) you still have approximately 300 m downhill over uneven terrain to walk. Only ate there but the lady was genuinely unwelcoming and unfriendly You have to pay for your food when ordering which may tell a tale. We waited an hour and still sent it all back. Genuinely inedible. The whole place looks run down with dogs, litter and junk everywhere. Pity because the bat staff seemed friendly and helpful. There is also a real problem with access if staying here. Avoid.

When people dream about beach resorts, it probably looks very close to On Board. The resort is located right at the beach, so close to the sea in fact, that you can't access the front entrance to the grounds without getting wet during high tide. The scenic atmosphere is definitely a highlight, the only thing hat Impacts this a bit is that there a plenty of boats parking in the sea. Since there are no Stones, it's good for Swimming. There is a 10 minute walk from the drop off point to the resort, because the last part of the road is very rocky, bumpy or muddy and most trike drivers will refuse to bring you all the way. The rooms are not super luxurious, but simple and functional. WiFi coverage is a bit poor (I often found myself using mobile data when on our room), but it worked fine in the restaurant/bar area. Foods and drinks were solid and averagely priced. Considering the affordable price, it's still a 5/5 for me. We paid around 2300php per night for a family room. I would like to see them accept credit card in the restaurant and bar and it would be cool if they made the welcome-buko fresh for you in front of your eyes instead of preparing them once per day in bulk. Us Westerners love the show!
