Bohol Wonderlagoon Resort

A short (free) shuttle ride from the beach this is a decent place at an affordable price. A nice relaxing garden and pool, the bar is limited to beer and soju and the restaurant is catering towards Koreans. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Would stay again.

The hotel is approximately 2km from the beach so you must ride their free shuttle to swim at the beach in Alona it stops at 10 pm don't be late otherwise is a long hot walk back.Breakfast is a set menu and very small and only with 1 coffee you must pay for the next cup. The only thing great their is the pool however it opens strictly at 900am to 900 pm. My advice is to pay a little more and stay at a beach hotel. Bohol Beach Club is great.

Stayed here in April 2012 with my family (2 older kids). We had 2 interconnecting rooms - very nicely appointed. The only drawback was the bathroom - a big wet room with no shower screen or curtain. This is obviously appealing to Koreans but not to Aussies. As the owners are Korean, the restaurant heavily features Korean food. We used the great free shuttle to Alona Beach and ate there. The only drawback was having to watch the clock and try to accurately estimate how long we would want to be at Alona Beach. The website is a little misleading as to just how far away from the beach the resort really is. On the plus side, it has the best pool complete with water slide and cave. My kids loved being there.
