Panglao Regents Park

I was staying in the „Westwing“ in a standard room (A10) facing the street rather than the inner yard. The room had air conditioning, fridge, kettle, TV and was basically clean. The bathroom was okay, too. However, the place feels more like a hostel than a hotel although most of the other guests were mainly Korean families or couples. Sounds and noises echo in the stairs and corridors. Children ran around happily chatting along. The pre-arranged hotel transfer didn’t show up at the airport at the time mentioned when making the booking. So I waited for more than half an hour and only after I rang the hotel did someone show up. Although breakfast was included I was presented the regular menu at Chava Resto Bar across the street and had to pay the full price. I was then told that coffee and juice wouldn't be included anyhow. Also, funny that they ask for a 1,000PHP deposit at check in cash.

The staff is great. Unfortunately that’s all that was great. The rooms desperately need to be renovated. The paint, the floors all need to be replaced or painted. The beds are somewhat comfortable. The shower has hot water. They do have spring water available for free. The pool area could use some renovations too. The restaurant was very nice and the service was excellent.

Spent our new year here. Good Location. Accessible. Walking distance from the main road. Walking distance going to Alona Beach and other stablishments. No problem for foods. Nearest landmark Toto e Peppino pizza house. Has complimentary coffees and water dispenser on the hallway. Accommodating staff. Good hotel service. Has closet, mini refrigerator, electric kettle, safety vault, complimentary shampoo body wash toothbrush water heater towels. Comfy beds and pillows. Hotel linens. Huge room for family but Toilet size is small for me. No drainage on toilet bowl side thats why water overflows from the shower cubicle. Which is dangerous or slippery for seniors and kids along with you. Hope the management can do something about it. No provided floor mat, we need to request at the front desk. Has two buildings. Main and west wing. I booked at the west wing since it is the new one. But the pool is not that nice view. The view was nicer on the main bldg. just not that sure if the rooms was also spacious. All in all, I will book again here on the next staycation.
