Alla Luna Rossa Beach Hotel

Accomodation needs updating and renovation. But its price and location, made us happy vacationers. It seems to be between Station 2 and Station 3, so you get both of the thrifty traveller's world. Room we had in the ground floor was clean and big enough for the 6 of us. Aircon and water heater were working well. Best of all, it's beachfront. They have a restaurant which primarily serves Italian dishes. Their pizza's good and so was their gnocchi. They also cook fresh catch the way you want it.

The only good thing I can say about this hotel is that it has a great location other than that... We arrived pretty late at around 3 am, the concierge was closed and everything was dark, we asked the guard for assistance who then called the hotel staff, he was drunk, lazy and refused to give any assistance to us. When we finally got to our room, at first glance I thought it was clean but then when we entered the floor was Sandy and the roaches started to show up. The bathroom was abysmal it stank of urine, the shower head was busted and you only had to choices of water temperature cold or scalding hot. The curtains were dirty and very thin hence it gets really bright in the morning, the AC was noisy and made this disturbing sound. We were here for 4 days, during the time the hotel never changed our sheets or offered to clean our room. Moreover, we did our booking at booking.com the rate posted was for 8800 plus 12% vat which amounted to 9500 but when we checked their rates at the hotel it should have been only 600 per person. Some of the staff were friendly but some are very unaccommodating and may give you some attitude if you try to ask for room service. Don't be deceived by the pictures they post, it is in no way close to how it looks For the amount they charge you can find a better hotel with better accommodations.

We went to Boracay last August 2017. And this is the hotel we chose to stay. :) The caretaker (forgot his name) gave me and my partner a discount. I think we get the room for Php1200.00 per night. The original price is around Php1400.00 (as much as I remember). Such a big discount, right? We stayed at the hotel for 3days and 2night. Alla Luna is located at Station 2 and our room was Room No. 2. It is located on the second floor of the hotel and it is near the terrace which is an overlooking to the ocean. A big factor for rooms. :) Inside the room, there is a queen size bed which is made out from bamboo, 2 pillows, 1 bedding. Above the bed, there are 2 pillows, 1 tissue roll, shampoo and soap. Of course, there are appliances. :) A television, refrigerator, and electric fan. The room also have a square dining table with two chairs, a bamboo side table and also a cabinet to keep your things. And what I loved the most in this hotel, there is a "SAFE". I guess, it is as big as a 32liter Givi Box for motorcycles. The safe fits almost all of our gadgets and wallet and other important things. :) And it is also air-conditioned. The bathroom was also very good. It is spacious. The toilet is separate from the shower area. It is also clean and tiled. All in all the room we rented was very spacious, comfortable and very good. I recommend this hotel to other vacationers. I and my partner did not try the food in this hotel so I cannot rate or review it. But in a nutshell, when it comes to room accommodation, I highly recommend this hotel to others. :) :) :)
