Bamboo Beach Resort Bar and Restaurant

Worst hotel in boracay. The staffs are very not helpful at all. During our stay we've encountered so many issue with this hotel. 1st is the room that is beside in the salon is the bed is infested with ant. The only solution they did is they only spray pesticide and after a day there are still ants on the bed. 2nd is we've occupied a total of 6 rooms and some of the shower heater and exhaust are broken. 3rd is upon checking out no one help us carry our things knowing that it was raining during that day we have senior citizens and kids with us. They let us got soaking wet in the rain!

Checked in May 11,2025 there is nothing good about staying at the bamboo resort. It should be called horror bamboo. After checking in with 3 people we were took to our room which had one bed. We were exuasted and didn’t want to fuss much so we layed down side ways on bed and chit chatted for 15 min. I felt the pillows they were not pillows they were old towels or rags shoved into a pillow case. Then we discovered a make shift Terrous / closet with broken glass. With a massive spider hanging out. Yes I am in the Philippines and I realize that spiders are a thing. Yet I choose not to sleep with a spider as big as my hand. ( Yes I have a picture) 2 of us went to front desk to have them remove the spider. 2 not so bright employees walked into our room with duct pan and broom. Walked to the room and tried to scoop it into the pan. lol This was as big as my hand. Of course the spider ran and I grabbed all luggage and pulled it out to the hallway saying staying in that room would not work we would not be staying in it. (Trying to satisfy us) They said they had another room that was bigger. I’m like good I hope it is better. Having no elevators we struggled to get up the steps ( handicapped) The door man opened the door to the other room and what stood there waving at us. A 3 inch long coach roach. I think everyone could hear me stream I did not walk in and said no IM done. They told us we could not get our money back and at this point I wanted to escape with my life. My sister in law joked after we left well we can still get the free breakfast. Who know what you would get. (Pass) Leaving Bamboo we found a much nicer place. I do not understand the laws or rules in Philippines when it comes to cleanliness or requirements. After all it is another country . I try to make leeway. I wish I had more photos to add we ran for for our lives so fast I was not going to set foot in there for pictures.

The location is the ONLY good thing. There are big rats EVERYWHERE! All over…I recorded. There were so many I was scared to walk up the sidewalk to get to my room. Because of this I refuse to eat ANYTHING here when they do not take care of all the rats that roam around. So there goes the free breakfast I refuse to eat. I was bit by something my first night and woke up to the bite that got infected so I had to go to the clinic (cost me 2500 pesos for consult + prescriptions + bandages) and couldn’t swim for 7 DAYS while I take antibiotics 3X a day and put steroid cream ointment on the bite. The Hotel has done NOTHING about this!! The A/Cs are not digital and don’t have enough BTU’s to cover the room space so it is HOT in the rooms. Their office is cooler than the rooms and I switched my room and still same thing. Very hot. Because the BTUs are not enough to cool the room. No water pressure at all! The water very slowly drips out of the shower, and because barely any water comes out from lack of pressure it’s difficult to get rid of shampoo and conditioner out of your hair and makes it extremely dangerous to slip in the shower as there are no bars up hold onto and the floors are marble. Also the shower water goes all over the entire bathroom floor, in front of the toilet and sink because it’s just one flat floor, no shower curtain or anything. You will have to dry the floor every time after showering so you don’t slip and fall going to the toilet. ****Pay a little more and stay somewhere else **** it’s NOT worth it and I will be contacting Agoda!
