Boracay Ocean Club Beach Resort

This is our family's second time staying at Boracay Ocean Club. Our past experience was good, which is why we decided to return, but this will definitely be our last stay here. The service from the ground-floor lifeguards was incredibly disappointing. They are rarely at their posts, often seen just chatting instead of focusing on their jobs. We even tried to borrow a life jacket at one point, but the staff told us we couldn't because the lifeguards weren't around to authorize it. On top of that, they were rude and showed clear favoritism toward foreign guests over locals. Over three days, we tried to request lounge chairs outside so we could relax, and every single time we were given a different excuse: Day 1 (around 5:30 PM): They said it wasn't allowed because the chairs are only permitted out until 6:00 PM. Day 2 (around 4:00 PM): They changed the rule, saying the chairs are only allowed out until 5:00 PM. Day 3 (around 10:00 AM): They claimed they would face a penalty from the Coast Guard if they set up the chairs at that time. When I called them out on their changing excuses, they simply brushed it off. We gave up and went to the Surf beach instead. Moments later, a foreign guest made the exact same request. The lifeguards immediately rushed to set up the chairs in the very spot I had asked for earlier. When they noticed us watching them, they finally approached us. There was no apology at all. They just bluntly told us they could set up chairs for us now. By then, the shaded spot under the tree was taken by the other guests, leaving us with no protection from the morning sun. It was an incredibly rude and unprofessional way to handle guests. In addition, the ground-floor swimming pool was consistently dirty throughout our stay. It seems the current staff has become too comfortable and no longer knows how to treat paying customers properly. We will not be coming back.

Currently staying here. Overall, it’s a good experience but can still be improved if the following can be looked at by the management team. 1. Room 209: shower area: leaks go out at the main bathroom floor 2. Rainy season, all roos should have umbrella 3. Front desk Joy’s attitude. Antipatika sya. Please retrain her. 4. Towels need to be replaced

Great location. That is where the compliment stops, Booked 5 nights in the president room only to arrive and find out they are doing renovations. All day they make noise. Almost 2k Aud and they then charge me ro use a iron. Do yourself a favour and book elsewhere.
