Giulius Italian Resort

I used to recommend Giulius Boracay Italian Resort because of its perfect location in Station 2, close to my favorite hangouts. I even stayed here in mid-September 2025 without thinking too much of the two small bites I got then. So I booked again for October 29 to November 7. However, on my first night in Room S, I was severely bitten by bed bugs. Not just a couple — my entire back and lower body were affected. I wish I could post how much bites I had on my butt area and hip area but those are not for public view. I ended up having to take antihistamines, apply topical creams, and launder all my clothes and luggage before transferring to. a new hotel — and then re-launder everything again when I got back home to Manila just to make sure I wouldn’t bring bed bugs into my house. While the staff were polite, the hotel did not meet basic sanitation and hygiene standards required for accredited lodging. I was not refunded for the nights I stayed, even though the infestation clearly occurred inside their room. I’m now filing a sanitation and accommodation complaint with the Department of Tourism to address this and prevent it from happening to others. I do not recommend this hotel. No traveler deserves to go through this level of discomfort, expense, and stress on what should have been a vacation. Photos attached.

Great Value Stay Near Station 2 – Clean, Comfortable, and Friendly!” Location The beach at Station 2 is about 500 meters away. You’ll walk through a safe alley to get there. The hostel is also close to restaurants and convenience stores, making it easy to grab food or essentials. Amenities The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. The air-conditioning worked well, the bed was comfortable, and they provided extra pillows. The bathroom had hot and cold shower, plus complimentary toiletries and towels. There’s also a small swimming pool where you can take a refreshing dip. A plated breakfast is included with the room, and they also served welcome drinks upon arrival. Staff The staff were very accommodating and efficient—quick to assist and always friendly.

Great stay and generally a good option to stay for budget friendly trip. Good for friends and couples. Not sure if suitable for family with small kids or traveling with elders or with mobility concern. Property is until 4th floor and no elevators (fine with me right now) could request for ground or lower floor perhaps. Staff was very friendly and polite. Plates breakfast is decent. Room was comfortable and clean. Location, just in small alley in station 2 opposite the picolo hotel and From the main road, the small alley where Meza wrap and BPI (bank) are located. Just wondering if this alley is Ok now during rainy season. Overall, pleasant stay.
