Nikko's Place Travellers Inn

My family was terribly misled by one of the sales persons. We thought we were getting a 7 person tour experience for shopping, cenotes and monkey exhibit for a grand total of $70.00 US. All we had to do was spend 90 minutes touring the Vidanta resort. 90 minutes turned out to be 3 1/2 hours. Then we were told we had to pay entrance fees to the cenotes and zoo, about $80 additional each. Lost my temper and demanded a return of what I paid. Did get refund. Be very careful with these folks.

Got a great price for a month-long rental at Nikko's. Upon check in, the bathroom was flooded because the toilet was leaking. Asked them to fix it and they ignored it for 5 straight days. Everything worked like the TV and shower and leaking toilet. NO internet can be received there and there is no WiFi. Linens are bad and beds are uncomfortable. No daily maid service. About a 5 minute walk down 2 alleys to the beach. I guess if the toilet didn't leak and the bathroom floor wasn't always wet I might have given this a better review. Its probably an average Filipino hotel or boarding house or pension house experience. It would be a poor American or European hotel experience. Beware...
